Debyi's body shape is unknown, as most of it is covered by the ridiculous amounts of fur-like dust surrounding it. Debyi's face consists of two eyes, a deep purple nose and a small mouth. Debyi has no arms, but does have a pair of light-grey feet with two toes each. Debyi has a pair of light grey ears with deep purple insides.
Debyi are often a nuisance, as they enjoy hiding in the nooks and crannies of people's houses their home. Debyi spend a lot of their time hiding in people's houses, leading to them collecting an unbelievable amount of dust. If they feel threatened, they will puff out their chest, causing some of the dust covering the debyi to fly into the threat's eyes, permanently blinding them. After this, they will then escape to another hiding place, usually another corner in the house. Most debyi are very lively dayan, and often hop and skip everywhere they go, and seem to leave a trail of dirt behind them.
Debyi's name comes from two words. (Debu/Bayi)
- Debu - Malay for dust.
- Bayi - Malay for baby.
Debyi's concept is inspired by dust bunnies, small clumps of dust that form in corners of houses that aren't usually cleaned. Debyi's massive coat of dust is inspired by angora rabbits, a species of rabbit which has a ridiculous amount of fur.
