Tadcoal is a Fire-type Dayan. It evolves into Blastpole and finally into Pyroak. It serves as one of the starters in Generation I.
Etymology[]
Tadcoal's name comes from two words (Tadpole/coal)
- Tadpole - Basically what it is based off
- Coal - Referring to its coal-like structure
Description[]
Tadcoal are found inside hot, lava puddles left over by flowing lava. Their body heat prevents the lava from cooling down, thus allowing the tadcoal to move inside it.
Trivia[]
- Its coal-like structure is actually made of brittle obsidian and basalte.
Rare Variation[]
Tadcoal has a rare variation based on its color. Tadcoal's rare variation has a much pink(er) flame.
